Leslie Ludolph

Assistant Executive Director

A native of Ohio and a former speech pathologist, Assistant Director Leslie Ludolph came in through the same back door as the families served at SungateKids did in the original location off East Evans Avenue.

“As a school teacher and special educator I reported a number of cases of child abuse and became interested in the higher incidence of abuse among children with special needs. When I moved to Colorado with my family in 1997 I decided to get involved with SungateKids as a volunteer.”

That volunteer stint turned into a paid staff position in 2000. Now, as Assistant Director at SungateKids, she sometimes misses the one-on-one work she did with children in the schools, but feels very lucky to touch the lives of hundreds of children and their families through her communications, website and event management duties at SungateKids.

Leslie holds a B.S. in Communications from The Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology from California State University. She and her husband are avid golfers and have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law and one grandson.
